Our Veterinarians
Dr David Harris
|
Dr. Dave Harris is a graduate of the University of Guelph, Ontario Veterinary College in 1987. He brings a solid background of both livestock and companion animal practice to the Devonian Veterinary Clinic.
His interests include long distance running and cross country skiing. Both Dr.s' Harris and Onderka will be skiing the Canadian and American Birkebeiner ski races in 2009.
Dr. Harris' deep commitment to veterinary medicine includes an interest in veterinary programs internationally. Closer to home, Dr. Harris is an advocate for cost effective spay/neuter and wellness programs as well as pet identification.

Dr Detlef Onderka
|
Dr. Detlef Onderka is an experienced companion animal practitioner with an interest in canine sports medicine. Dr. Onderka is a graduate of Purdue University, Indiana in 1975. He owns and operates his own dog sled team, as well as actively participating in such sports as dog sledding, skijoring and marathon running.
Dr. Onderka's veterinary experiences have led him full circle from a career as an acclaimed board certified avian and fur bearing pathologist with Alberta Agriculture Food and Rural Development to a busy companion animal practitioner at The Devonian Veterinary Clinic.
Dr. Onderka is a testament to healthy retirement living. His outdoor activities including competitive running and cross country skiing will be combined with major dog sledding distance and sprint races in 2009. Dr. Onderka adds "competitive musher" to his long list of qualifications.

Dr Jaret Bogdan
|
Dr. Jaret Bogdan brings the Devonian Veterinary Clinic a wealth of experience after having spent many of his years in practice working as an emergency veterinarian. Dr. Bogdan graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000.
Dr. Bogdan's interests include outdoor activities such as classic and skate ski cross country skiing and competative biking.

Dr Charlene Stevens

Devonian Veterinary Clinic is very happy to introduce our newest staff member, Dr. Charlene Stevens. Dr Stevens is a graduate of the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatchewan. Since graduation in 1998 she has collected a number of experiences in the veterinary world. She draws experiences from as far away as North Carolina and as varied as the Edmonton Veterinary Emergency Clinic. We are very pleased to welcome her to our facility!
Dr. Stevens will be away from the clinic on sebatical for a couple months, but please call the clinic if you require anything, we are anticipating her wonderful smiling face to grace our clinic in the near future!
